Sikaflex®-552 is a high performance, flexible, one-component silane polymer (STP) gap-filling adhesive. It is suitable for bonding a wide range of materials and will bond with limited surface preparation in many cases. Sikaflex®-552 is suitable for joints that will be subject to dynamic loading. Suitable substrates include metals, in particular aluminium (including anodised components), sheet steel (including phosphated, chromated and galvanised components), ceramics and plastics. Consult the manufacturer for advice and test on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-552 on materials susceptible to stress cracking.
