EPA04 – Butyl Adhesive Tape 6 × 6 mm, 7 m Roll
Butyl adhesive tape measuring 6 × 6 mm and 7 m in length, designed for professional sealing in automotive applications. The mass is flexible, easy to shape and fit – it can be shortened or stretched to achieve the required diameter and shape.
The product is resistant to water, moisture, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. It adheres excellently to various surfaces such as metal, glass, plastic, and rubber, allowing for a wide range of applications – from sealing lamps and windows to soundproofing and damping vibrations in body parts.
New packaging includes a fitted styrofoam insert that securely positions the roll and prevents it from deforming during transport.
Butyl sealant is widely used in automotive – it is used for soundproofing and damping vibrations in body parts, sealing lamp covers, sunroofs, doors, and ducts, as well as for sealing windows in rubber profiles and body shells.
How to use:
1. Clean and degrease the surface to be glued.
2. Apply the required amount of adhesive into the groove.
3. Heat the cover using a heat gun or oven (130°C for 7 minutes).
4. Press the cover down and remove any excess mass.
