Advanced LED Technology
For standard LED chips, a problem in the path of light extraction from the chip is the metal wires that cover part of the light-emitting surface. In classic LED diodes, losses associated with the traditional LED mounting method reach 20%.
This problem does not occur in flip-chip assembly, which does not use gold wire bonding for LED chips.
The illustration simplifies the complex operation of the advanced flip chip system used in these bulbs.
Benefits of Flip Chip Technology:
- Compact size and reduced weight of bulbs
- Generate much more light with a cooler color temperature
- Excellent heat dissipation ensuring long lifespan (up to 60,000 hours of operation)
- Resistance to shocks and vibrations
- Supports CAN BUS
- LEDs placed at the same height as the light source in a regular halogen bulb, thus achieving a so-called "cutoff" which prevents blinding other drivers.
- Allows for the elimination of costly and large heat sinks, and greater freedom in designing lighting solutions.
